Understanding how the broadcast media works and the pressures journalists face is a vital first step in being able to respond effectively to their demands. This requires confidence in how to handle awkward questions and how to project your organisation and yourself positively.

The people who provide memorable performances are those who convey knowledge of the subject under discussion, clearly, confidently, with passion & sincerity.

That is gained through practise and familiarity with the technology you will be confronted with. Knowing what it’s for removes the mystique and the fear.

News Talk will use realistic scenarios to provide interview opportunities ranging from a local radio interview to T.V. lives.

We stage a full blown press conference. We incorporate a print journalist session, conducting face to face and telephone interviews. We use standard broadcast equipment to simulate as closely as possible the situations you may face. We analyse performance, presentation, content, preparation and style.

We can tackle anything from a full scale Paxman interview right down to the local newspaper.
